This is the sketch for February – Aquarius that I should have started during the New Moon… January 29th
but I was sick as a dawg with a bioweapon flu that had me completely down for 2 weeks and now I have to build myself back up – I am age 62 and so stuff like that wipes me out!I don’t think that living just north of an oil refinery – Suncor which belches out toxic chemicals relentlessly into the air at night – and the inundation of chemtrails helped me stay well or get well. Oh well.
I did start thinking about this piece, during the New Moon, in keeping with my promise to follow the moon cycles consciously… and yesterday I decided what I am going to do for February (Aquarius) and yesterday I printed the horse drawings out at Office Depot at 4″ x 4″ so I can project them with my handy dandy Artograph projector onto the Gelli Plate printed pages I gathered during the Mystical Days Portal for February. These are the 9″ x 12″ monoprints I gathered that will make up the Horse in the Aquarius painting…
While I was sick, I used my graphire tablet and GIMP to trace some horses… I actually have enough for the next 7-8 months if I want.
Here they are: The first or 2nd is the one I am going to use for February – I am going to make his mane and tail be wild with static electricity.
My husband is an Aquarius and he is so typical! He is an electrician and he has 2 huge fish tanks and he loves dogs and he loves clouds. He is such a representation of Aquarius besides being genius level mentally. I will try to portray these characteristics in the Aquarius Horse painting.
This is the one I am planning to use for February – for Aquarius but I might use the opposite:
And then I plan on a huge Anvil Cloud above with Lightning and a lake behind – and the Constellation for Aquarius, the Water Bearer.
I also drew up another bunch of horse drawings for future works…and printed them yesterday so I can be a few months ahead.
This could be Pisces – 2 Horses going in opposite directions – but really “neck scratching” which is a thing horses do with each other when they are contented and happy. Not very Piscean, really.

This could be Gemini – although I don’t see one of the legs which is irksome. I might have to discard this one.

This is another that might work for Gemini or Pisces – Pisces people seem to have 2 parts that don’t know each other…I might need a totally different image to represent this.
This one is slightly comical but I liked how all his legs and body are fully defined – once I get into the the collage aspect that seems to be what works best.
I love these – Virgo maybe – I have another few photos of mom’s with foals which I have not traced up yet.
