Taurus! Has been the most difficult Mustang Collage painting of these so far!

Of course! Isn’t Taurus the most difficult person you have ever had to deal with? Some people say Aquarius is more difficult, but at least they can be blown around by the wind! Taurus on the other hand is immovable.

The papers I pulled for Taurus are all geometric – so that’s kind of another interesting conundrum for this

I selected the horse picture I was going to use on the full moon:

it’s a photo – of a wild mustang but this guy is likely not a true mustang – he is a horse that got “out” or was kicked out by this “owner” and joined the mustang herd, of which there are many of those – because he is a “gray” which are not your typical “mustang” features. Still one of the horses that are being rounded up by the BLM and tortured – sadly.

however, because he is “gray” it’s hard to tell the light and the dark for drawing and his back hooves are not showing, so I knew I would have to “make it up”. I had no idea though really how hard this piece was going to be to do. But, that’s a Taurus for you. Stubborn!

I will say my prayers as I work and get it done by the end of the Last Quarter…we are squarely in the first Quarter today so that’s good…I am finding myself much more in tune with Nature as a result of doing this project… which was “Snowman”‘s direction to me –

I am doing one little piece at a time, following the sketch – using an opposite drawing on vellum and mimeograph paper. Of course, each iteration of the drawing and cutting changes the shape a little bit – so I will have to slowly, prayerfully, piece this one together…
It seems like the most Taurus-like image I can find.

Snowman

This is Snowman – he was the inspiration for this project – and he died this past month…
