I took the substrate (prints) and taped them together and then projected the horse onto the back and cut him out. Here’s what is left (above).

Here is the Capricorn Constellation that I will likely glue onto the background unless I decide to do it differently…

here is the first stage of the background. It is blue and brown tissue paper with a layer of tracing paper on top. I will add some paint most likely, tomorrow.

Today is the Waxing Crescent Moon – and I had to start over because I looked at the drawing of that horse and saw that the back legs were misproportioned to the front legs.

I had taken “drawings” of horses from the internet, rather than photos of horses, so the “artist” mis-drew the back legs. I wasn’t sorry because I really did not enjoy how I was doing it – I was doing what is known as “torn paper collage” – and I had a strong intuition to do it the way I ended up doing it – which worked a LOT better, I think. I am much more inspired.
