This painting is possibly done, although I may darken her mane and I may still put the Leo Constellation in up top – not sure yet.
While working on this painting, I found out that the Director of the non-profit that I have been working closely with for the past 2 years, had “euthanized” 5 of the horses that I have been intimate with energetically and – especially this one. Their being murdered was under nefarious circumstances.
The Director told me that “the board decided that they were not thriving domestically.” None of them are – because they are wild!
That’s why I was working on them!!! Because they were traumatized and could have all been killed by the Bureau of Land Management, for God’s sake!
This was devastating news, and I stopped working on this painting for weeks. I realized yesterday the next new moon is on Monday August 25th, and that’s when I will have to start the new painting for September.
I didn’t even find this out from the Director, who was supposedly my friend, but from a third party – so I had to confront the Director, who had been my “friend” and who was also renegging on our agreements… and had been uncommunicative for quite some time, so I was terribly upset for several weeks. I knew I had to find another non-profit to donate the paintings to, or I would not be able to finish the series.
